What Is It About The New 2021 Jeep Compass?

The new 2021 Jeep Compass is a compact SUV with five seats. The 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine of 180 horsepower powers the SUV. Six and nine-speed automatic transmissions are available. All-wheel drive is available, and front-wheel drive is standard for all trims, including 2021 Jeep Compass Latitude. At the Trailhawk trim level, the all-wheel-drive system includes low-range gears.

What Is New With The 2021 Jeep Compass?

The Jeep Compass looks reminiscent of a large Cherokee and has been reduced to a small economy car. The high-end trims have chrome shine, and the Trailhawk trim level has off-road cues that make it attractive. The business-like interior wears black plastic and synthetic leather, and in the form of red stitching and a central touch screen, it is somewhat relieved from its usual appearance.

The Jeep will fit all Compass crossovers with a 2.4-liter inline 4 with 180 hp and combine it with either a 6-speed manual transmission (rarely seen) or a 6-speed automatic on lower and front-wheel-drive models. Street manners are good for this compact crossover with premium ride quality; In Trailhawk trim, the compass can overcome moderate obstacles and complex weather conditions.

The Jeep suggests a compass interior large enough for four adults, but it reduces seating comfort. Cargo space is plentiful at 27.2 cubic feet, and the rear seats improve when folded. But federal crash test scores are disappointing, and the Compass doesn't come with standard automatic emergency braking until you hit the 2021 Jeep Compass Limited and Trailhawk trims.

The Uplevel 2021 Jeep Compass Trailhawk and Limited models now have a forward collision warning with adaptive cruise control with a stop 'n' go function, automatic emergency braking, and a lane departure warning, a warning of blind spots with cross-traffic warning at the rear, and a lane departure warning. Also, these panels include a rear parking aid, automatic high beam headlights, and rain sensors.

The new 80th Anniversary Edition features premium alloy 19-inch wheels with the crystal-granite finish, leather upholstery, power-adjustable driver seat, remote start, an 8.4-inch touchscreen multimedia system and navigation, and special badges and trims levels.
