new range of features on its most popular vehicles. Jeep enthusiasts around the
world are discussing what's new in the 2021 Jeep lineup. Year by year, Jeep has
consistently delivered great cars to the long-awaited public.
2021 is no different;
the Jeep brand brings many improvements to its choice and severe changes to its
current models. The latest updates and upgrades are visible in the 2021 model
year line, with the addition of new trims to each vehicle. Jeep enthusiasts in
the Bay City and surrounding area can rest assured that the Reliance Chrysler
Dodge Jeep RAM dealer will bring them the latest news on the 2021 Jeep range.
Let us tell you more about what to expect.
The 2021 Jeep Renegade
is in line with the theme of safety upgrades. Sport trim updated in the basic
version of the infotainment system. The 7-inch touchscreen is upgraded from its
5-inch touchscreen. Latitude trim has doubled the size of its gauge cluster
display from 3.5 inches to 7 inches. The Limited trim will feature an 8.4-inch
touch screen instead of an optional feature. It will also receive a cargo area
cover with security alarms. The Renegade Trailhawk will also get an 8.4-inch
infotainment touchscreen. This Jeep has heated front seats and a heated
steering wheel with an auto-dimming rearview mirror. The Renegade Sport
features a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and
Android Auto, replacing the old 5.0-inch display, and the Limited and Trailhawk
have more standard features.
The 80th Anniversary
Edition includes 19-inch dark wheels and a special badge. It consists of black
fabric with a metallic gray accent. Islander Edition features a 19-inch silver
rim, a panoramic sunroof, passive hands-free entry, and a unique island-themed
hood decal and embroidered seating.
The 2021 Jeep Wrangler
has received many improvements and updates. The recently introduced 3.0-liter
V6 turbodiesel is still available on all four-door Wrangler vehicles. The Base
Sport model is equipped with a two-speed transfer case, the Rubicon Trim gets
an optional Rock Track AWD system, and the TrailCam external camera system is
now available on models equipped with this 8.4-inch infotainment screen.
Included technology will keep the rear differential locked at faster speeds and
alter shift points, traction control settings, and throttle response. The
Wrangler adds an exciting feature that helps the owner be alert when filling
the tires with a horn that sounds sufficient air pressure.
Big news for the
Wrangler 2021 is the introduction of a plug-in hybrid 4xe drivetrain. The
electrified unit combines a turbocharged four-cylinder engine and an electric
motor for a total of 375 hp. The 80th Anniversary Edition joins the lineup, as
does the daring Islander, which comes with a beach-themed exterior package and
a Jeep Tiki decal on the hood.
The Compass 2021 can't
be confused with anything other than an SUV - though we think it's one of the
most beautiful designs - and its ability to stay off the road is unusual for
this class. The Jeep Compass Sport comes standard with a 180-hp 2.4L I-4
engine, 4-wheel anti-lock brakes (ABS), 6-speed automatic transmission with
overdrive, curtain 1st and 2nd row overhead airbags, side seat mounted airbags,
airbag occupancy sensor, driver knee airbag, automatic air conditioning, cruise
control, electronic stability, ABS and driveline traction control. The 2021 Jeep
Compass has added new standard features for the Limited and Trailhawk. It will
add optional cruise control with lane keep assist, forward collision warning with
automatic emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors
with automatic braking.
There's a new
80th-anniversary edition based on the Latitude trim level. It features 19-inch
granite crystal wheels, leather seats with contrasting stitching, an adjustable
driver's seat, remote start, an 8.4-inch touchscreen, a 115V socket, and more.
Other flourishes include an oak medallion key fob, trim-specific badging, and
piano-black and gunmetal interior accents.
Jeep will equip the
Cherokee with several new active safety features as standard for 2021. These
include blind-spot monitoring, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping
assist, and more. The range also benefits from mixed standard features. For
example, the base model has heated exterior mirrors and one-touch up /down
front side windows; The Trailhawk adds heated front seats and steering wheel,
as well as a remote start.
There is also a new 80th
Anniversary Edition, which is based on the equipment variant Latitude LUX so
that all standard functions are carried over. The highlights include leather
upholstery with contrast stitching, Granite Crystal 19-inch wheels,
power-adjustable front seats, a panoramic sunroof, the larger 8.4-inch
touchscreen, and more.
None effortlessly
combines the brand's off-road philosophy with sophisticated road manners,
precisely like the Grand Cherokee, among the many Jeep SUV offerings.
Adventurous people should consider Trailhawk, which has Kevlar-reinforced
tires, two-speed transfer case, hill-descent control, an electronically
controlled limited-slip rear differential, an air suspension that offers
additional ground clearance.
A new Laredo X model
will join the lineup and provides remote start, in-dash navigation, an 8.4-inch
infotainment display, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and a
power-operated liftgate. The 80th Anniversary Edition model, based on a limited
trim level, is standard with all available driver-assisted features from the
Grand Cherokee, plus leather seat cushions, lightweight tungsten-colored
interior accents, exclusive 18-inch wheels, and a special badge.
The same 3.0-liter V6
turbodiesel engine as the Wrangler has now been incorporated into the Jeep
Gladiator. The 2021 Gladiator now offers all equipment variants with the
permanent Selec-Trac all-wheel-drive option. The primary Sports trim equipped
with additional LED headlights. To make off-road travel more comfortable than
ever before, owners can choose the Overland trim with a new grille-mounted
camera.
The new Gladiator Willys
will feature 32-inch tires for muddy terrain and non-slip rear differential rails.
The 80th Anniversary Edition is also available for the Gladiator. It features
18-inch wheels in a dark finish, a gray metal exterior, and commemorative
badges.
